Welcome to the Circus...

What to expect, and what not to...

Hello friends, foes, and people from the internet.

If you are wondering wtf this is, I still don’t know myself, so bear with me…

Firstly, let’s make sure we set the bar really low. In fact, ditch the bar altogether. Some of the best things in my life have happened when I had zero expectations and explored the situations life presented me with. So, let’s keep an open mind and see where that leads us.

Full disclosure - I am writing this blog/newsletter/journal, or whatever the latest fancy word is, for myself. It’s a selfish exercise that clears my mind and helps me make sense of the chaos and remember the highs and lows of this bizarre journey called ‘life.’

So, if you seek life, health, investment, or relationship advice - look elsewhere; this isn’t it. You are in the wrong part of the internet.

That said, I hope you will occasionally be entertained, amused, provoked to think, or, at a minimum, find some new music for your playlists or book for your nightstand.

But again, no expectations…

I guess you might be wondering what the topic of this little project is. Well, that makes two of us.

The truth is, I can’t contain what is happening in my little monkey skull to a single topic, and I don’t think I have to. The internet is full of fat and depressed entrepreneurs, as well as broke and unemployed life coaches.

I am not interested in this over-optimized and one-dimensional way of living.

I saw this image the other day, and it comes close to what I am talking about.

The way I see it, five broad topics are top of mind for me at any time - health (physical + mental), wealth, relationships, travel, and entertainment (mostly music).

To make things a bit more playful, let’s rename these to mind, body, money, people, places, and fun. That last one is important - most people forget to have fun!

I will keep this short, as I’ve wasted enough precious words already.

And because it seems to be a law of the universe to kick things off with a quote, here's one to chew on…

Each of our lives is a Shakespearean drama raised to the thousandth degree.

- Anna Akhmatova

So, welcome to my drama.
